Central Asia: The togyzqumalaq

Sailing my network I found the news of this workshop organized by togyzqumalaq Casa Asia. "What is Casa Asia ?

Casa Asia was established with the aim of strengthening the knowledge and dialogue on Asia in Spain, through the analysis and discussion of civic issues, political, social, cultural, economic and environmental, supporting activities and projects that contribute to a better understanding between Asian and English companies, as well as promote the development of relations between them.

The activity was held this afternoon (a fair bit, I know) but maybe you're seeing this time and interests you go. This is information that is available from Asia House:

Viktor Bautista

The togyzqumalaq is a game of mancala, common in many Asian and African countries in their different variants. In Asia, traditionally played Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and parts of the Russian Federation, Mongolia and western China.
