Synopsis:
The first stage is trivial: The landscape of the people repeating field in the province of Buenos Aires. A landscape of hotels, office lethargic, service stations, truck crowded routes, lonely dirt roads and empty. At that precise and detailed universe, the film rushes three stories. Their starting points will be classics. The first: A man finds himself by chance in a violent situation in which, unwittingly kills someone and is hiding. The second: A man occupies a place of work, the position of another, who did not know and just died. That other, in whom nobody has ever noticed, is presented as an increasingly complex puzzle. The third: A group of men on a hotly debated topic, vaguely scientific. The discussion gained in intensity until it eventually becomes a challenge. That challenge sent to a third man on a journey that we never understood. From these beginnings (beginnings that have passed, at the time, Hitchcock, Poe and Verne), the film opens to a complex and varied pattern of stories that lead to others that are blurred and transformed, until a final kind of encyclopedia of the topics of the classic adventure, wild animals, river trips, maps with crosses and inscriptions, names of ships, detective plots, characters from the closure solve complex puzzles, characters, solve puzzles and believe they are wrong, love women, women spied through a window, women are never seen but imagined establishments abandoned field like vessels after the sinking, fire, flood, letters arriving from distant countries to people who have died, ghostly buildings amid the plain. The same old things, but different. The fictions of the time, but new. Our everyday landscape, no longer will be the same.
