U.S. is a rockabilly band formed in 1979 (formerly called The Tomcats) by Brian Setzer, Lee Rocker (Leon Drucker) and Slim Jim Phantom (James McDonnell .) They separated in 1993 and have staged a reunion tour in 2004. They are one of the most important of the rockabilly revival and the birth psychobilly in the early years of the decade of 1980.

At the beginning of August 2008 the Stray Cats returned to the stages of Europe, beginning in Spain. This was the farewell tour of the group, known as "Farewell Tour" in which the Cats bid farewell to their fans, forever, but each would follow its path as in recent years. Hopefully, over the years, this "goodbye" is a "bye", and in the future we can again see the Kings of Rockabilly Modern on stage.
