Jamaican singer Alric Forbes made his way in the late 1990's ..
singer and guitarist. He moved to Trenchtown in 1969 to burst on the scene of reggae music. Member of the RHT Invincibles alongside Lloyd Parks, Sly Dunbar and Roy Shirley. Played bass with the group of calypso and soca George Tucker and the Stardust has worked with The Gladiators, in 1972 had a hit with Conquering Lion, a song written and performed by Vivian Jackson aka Yabby you.Â
Given Smith, Alric Forbes and follows joined Yabby You & The Prophets. later worked with Chalice and The Defenders.Em 1989, The Defenders recorded "Chant Down Babylon." In 1992 Alric Forbes released his first solo album,''World Pride.''He founded his own label R & R Productions Pride .. Pride
I & I has received a favorable response in Toronto and internationally in Canada, and Barcelona in Spain, and was named the magazine Reggae Report Magazine as the first independent release of the reggae category ..

Alric Forbes is a lovely Jamaican brother who played and sang for years in Seattle on ganja (the The Defenders remember?). Alric
played all guitars, bass, and played on recordings with King Sounds Records, Half Pint, Yabby You, Sly & Robbie, Albert Griffiths & The Gladiators, and Michael Prophet King Tubby ...
