Jamaican Culture The trio was originally known as the African Disciples and worked with producer Joe Gibbs and engineer Errol Thompson. Culture has recorded a series of powerful singles, collected many of which ended in her successful debut album 'Two Sevens Clash'. The group then went to a string of albums for producer Sonia Pottinger nostalgic. Virgin Records issued the album, and that added distribution enabled Culture after winning a higher power outside of Jamaica. In 1986 the original lineup was reformed to record two highly regarded albums 'Culture in Culture' and 'Culture at Work'. These releases marked the beginning of a very busy period for the group, including annual albums and countless tours. The label Shanachie U.S. released a steady stream old and new albums to be released from the Culture 'Wings of a Dove''in 1992.
On August 19, 2006, Joseph Hill has passed away unfortunately took a fatal wrong, when the group was on tour in Berlin, Germany.
As a tribute to Joseph Hill, Albert Walker original members (his cousin), Telford Nelson and guitarist Robin Armstrong formed the group "The Original Culture Dub Band '.
The band pays tribute to the message of peace that gave the world the Culture, justice and most importantly respect for all kinds of human beings. This is the most important thing we as humans can do because we have seen with respect the rest. The band came together to keep this message alive in this crucial turning point in world history ...
