Willie Francis, born Wilbert Francis on March 18, 1943 in the district of Farm District in the south of spots, Jamaica. Is a singer of ska and early reggae that came to prominence in the late 1960'se over the 1970's. It is known for hits such as "Oh Mini, '" a top ten hit in the Jamaican charts. His other notable songs include "Sop" acid mature and "I'm gonna change Everything." Willie Francis was also a producer and was responsible for first recording Cocoa Tea, the famous reggae singer with "Searching the Hills" in 1974.A song of Willie Francis "Motherless Children" is featured on disc 2 of the "Trojan Skinhead Reggae Box Set CD" and other records of the Trojans also feature some songs from the artist. Willie Francis worked in England in the late 1970s, he lived in Canada for a number of years before returning to Jamaica. There has been very recently heard of the singer, but is believed to be trying to re-start his career despite the number of years that is outside the music scene. His former partner and mother of his three children was partner of the late Dennis Brown, and worked with him until his death in 1999 ...
